Exhibitions / Guidi collection
Space finds an unexpected connection with mathematical calculation through the slide rules, versatile and refined analog computers that dominated science, engineering and the vast field of technology, up to the last decades of the 1900s.
The museum exhibits part of the private collection of the Persicetan Agostino Guidi. A collection of exceptional quality, constantly enriched with tireless passion and expertise by objects from all over the world: from Italy to Europe, from North America to the Far East. Rare, original and working pieces that document the history of calculation from the beginning in the seventeenth century, up to the 1970s when the advent of electronics decreed its decline.
